Bergamot forms the top note, although it is restrained and does not emerge as a separate citrus fragrance. Instead, it sits quietly within the opening while the rose is immediately identifiable. Rosewood follows through the middle, adding a subtle woody layer that supports the petals and gives the fragrance greater depth. Red rose petals form the base, but their presence extends through the entire fragrance journey, keeping Old Red Rose consistently and unmistakably rose.
