Shipping policy
PROCESSING ORDERS
We generally process orders within 24 hours of the order being placed, however, during busy times with high volume, please allow 1-3 days. You will receive an email notification when we dispatch your items and is on its way. The email will provide you with the tracking number for your parcel with our carrier.
GIFT ORDERS - HOW TO SEND OUR CANDLES AS A GIFT
Buying candles to send as a gift is easy.
At checkout, simply enter your own details as the billing address, then enter the recipient’s details as the shipping address. Thats it!
We never include invoices or pricing inside our parcels, it's unnecessary, like excess packaging, and doesn't align with our commitment to sustainability.If you’d like to include a gift note, email us immediately after making your purchase with the message you want us to write. SHIPPING
We currently only ship domestically within Australia and do not offer international shipping. We cannot ship to PO Box or Locked Bags. Please provide a residential or physical street address.
FREE LOCAL DELIVERY
We offer a free local delivery service to eligible postcodes listed below. Local deliveries are done on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This service is arranged via SMS Text, so please ensure your phone number is correct at checkout. This service is not available through express checkout providers Apple Pay or Google Pay. Once your order has been fulfilled and ready to dispatch you will receive an SMS Text to arrange delivery. Check if you qualify for [free Sydney delivery by postcode].
SHIPPING RATES & ESTIMATE TIMES
We use various carriers for standard shipping and Australia Post for express shipping. Rates are flat-rates based on weight and destination. Please note only Metro areas are eligible for express delivery. Please ensure you select the appropriate rate for your postcode to avoid delays. If your postcode is Rural or Remote (based on the current Australia Post list) and you select Metro for shipping, your order will not be sent until the difference is paid. If you are unsure please check the Rural & Remote Postcodes list below which is listed by ranges in each state. If your postcode is not listed within a range in your state on the list then your postcode is considered Metro. Please make the correct selection at checkout.

We do not recommend express shipping for remote areas, it takes just as long as standard shipping.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
We accept returns up to 60 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. We do not exchange for change of mind purposes.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at Sales@scentualcandles.au with your order number and a photo of the package with barcode on shipping label visible and the damaged item.
