Because our sense of smell is linked to the part of the brain that stores emotion and memory, a fragrance can instantly alter your mood or take you back to a moment or feeling. Here in the workshop, my dog 'Billy' greets every guest with excitement and affection while I hand-pour candles designed to awaken your senses and stir something familiar, comforting, and deeply human.
Our Story
My love for candles began at age ten with a simple candle-making kit and grew through years of experimenting and creating for the sheer joy of it. Blending that passion with more than five years of experience in the fragrance industry, Scentual Candles was built around the belief that choosing a scented candle should be well informed, transparent and enjoyable—not guesswork based on vague fragrance descriptions and marketing adjectives.
Rather than relying on fragrance names alone, the website has been designed to help people understand how each candle smells before making a purchase. Detailed fragrance descriptions, fragrance notes, fragrance note images, the Fragrance Library, Scent Finder, educational guides and the ability to browse by fragrance, colour or category all work together to remove the guesswork from choosing a scented candle. Every product also includes clearly defined specifications, including weight, dimensions, burn time and fragrance information, ensuring the same commitment to transparency extends from the fragrance itself to the candle being purchased.
