Every vanilla candle in our collection is handcrafted in Sydney from 100% soy wax with a lead-free cotton wick. Each is poured into a Hydrostone vessel, a heat-resistant, non-combustible alternative to glass. They're vegan, cruelty-free, and free of petroleum and phthalates.

This is our classic. It's the vanilla candle for anyone who wants pure comfort, with nothing complicated in the way. It opens with smooth coconut cream, which gives the room a soft, creamy first impression. Heliotrope follows with a gentle, powdery floral heart, so the fragrance never turns sugary. 2. Very Vanilla Odour Eliminating Candle

Scent notes: Top: almond. Middle: vanilla bean, creamy accord. Base: caramel, tonka bean.

This is the most intense vanilla candle we make, built for people who say "the more vanilla, the better." Almond adds a nutty warmth up top. The heart is premium vanilla bean with a creamy accord for extra smoothness, and caramel and tonka bean deepen the sweetness underneath. Vanilla is the star from first burn to last, and it stays rich without turning sugary.

It's also an odour neutralising candle. The candle's heat releases the fragrance and the odour-neutralising technology into the air together, so it fragrances your space while helping with unwanted household smells. That makes it a good pick for kitchens, living areas and pet-friendly homes.

This is the moodiest vanilla candle in the collection. It's dark, warm and smoky, in a rich brown wax, and it feels like a gentleman's club: polished timber, soft leather and a little spice. Tobacco leaf and clove open it, cacao and tonka bring a velvety sweetness, and leather adds structure. Rich vanilla rises through the middle and softens the darker notes, and the dry-down is smooth, woody and quietly smoky.

6. French Pear Candle

Scent notes: Top: orange, cinnamon. Middle: clove, Doyenné du Comice pear. Base: coconut, vanilla.

You might not expect a fruity fragrance in a list of vanilla candles, but the vanilla is what makes this one work. The candle is inspired by the Doyenné du Comice pear, prized for its buttery sweetness. It opens with sweet orange and a sprinkle of cinnamon, and the heart is juicy green pear with clove. Then it settles into a soft gourmand base of creamy coconut and warm vanilla, which rounds off the fruit and leaves a lingering finish.

7. Black Opium Candle

Scent notes: Top: orange blossom, mandarin, crisp pear, pink pepper, licorice, blackcurrant. Middle: jasmine, orange blossom, bitter almond. Base: coffee, patchouli, vanilla, cedarwood, white musk.

Inspired by one of the world's best-loved perfumes, this candle is glamorous and bold, and it comes in black wax. Bright citrus and pear open it, and pink pepper and licorice add a spark of mystery. Jasmine and orange blossom form the floral heart, and the base is the payoff: dark roasted coffee, sweet vanilla, patchouli, cedarwood and white musk.

Vanilla Candle Care Tips

1. Let the wax melt right across the surface on the first burn, which prevents tunnelling.
2. Burn for no more than three hours at a time.
3. Trim the wick before each burn.
4. Keep your candle out of direct sunlight. Soy wax softens at around 30°C and can melt completely in the sun, which is worth remembering during an Australian summer.
